History
In 1991, Kenneth M. Anderson was an engineer for a local distributor. Sara
RS Miller operated Valley Controls Inc. doing PLC and operator display
terminal programming. One Sunday afternoon in November, Kenn attended an
installation ceremony at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
"I picked the middle of an empty row in the lower grandstand at the Marcus
Center to sit by myself and watch the ceremony. A few minutes later, Sara
and her husband selected the same row, bypassed all the empty seats from the
aisle to the center, and sat down right next to me."
Soon Kenn and Sara discovered they worked in the same market segment
offering different but complementary services. One thing they both learned
was to take advantage of an opportunity.
In 1995, NOVA Systems Inc. was formed to provide systems integration
services for local manufacturers. The Milwaukee-based company is a systems
integration solution provider, with Sara serving as President and Kenn as
Vice President.
Starting as a vision of its founders, NOVA Systems Inc. has grown from a
small two person operation with a minimal amount of customers to a thriving
business with over 18 employees and a customer base exceeding 250
businesses.
