Our Team

When you call NOVA, you are engaging a group of qualified engineers and technicians who have over 70 years of combined industry experience. With a diversity of expertise, from programming and retrofits to industrial motion control and operator interface devices, the NOVA team is well equipped to handle any project or service call. The NOVA team will work closely with you to achieve your desired goals in a timely manner. We can also provide you with panel construction, training and technical documentation that includes CAD drawings, instruction manuals and software printouts.

Sara RS Miller

Sara RS Miller

Chairman

After running her own PLC software company, Valley Controls, Sara became one of the original founders of Nova Systems in 1995. During the early years of Nova, she provided the expertise for PLC ladder logic programming and PC programming using C. Sara would also work with machine operators to design functional Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) screens. As the company grew, both in employee count and revenues, Sara migrated into the role of Managing Partner and is only occasionally programming for special projects.

When not directly involved with Nova responsibilities, Sara can be found volunteering for the Skylight Opera Theatre, reading classic books or attending live performances featuring local Art groups in the Milwaukee area.

Sara graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BS in Nutritional Sciences and from Milwaukee School of Engineering with an AAS in Computer Engineering Technology.

Kenn Anderson

Kenneth M. Anderson

President

As one of the original founders of Nova Systems, Kenn wears many hats. Apart from supporting engineering and technical activities, his primary focus is to meet with potential clients and listen to their concerns. Using the 37 years of industrial experience, a large network of technical resources and the expertise of the Nova engineering team, Kenn will formalize a plan and create a proposal to address and offer a solution to the current issue.

Before heading to the office, Kenn usually starts his day with a workout at the YMCA. Away from the office, one will find him up in the North woods taking pictures, bicycling the local trails or playing guitar.

Kenn graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Tim Blasier

Tim Blasier

Electrical Technician

Tim manages the NOVA shop. Duties include building and assembling the various control panels needed for successful completion of projects. He assists in electronic equipment repair and replacement. When needed, Tim works with the engineers to install equipment at a project site. He also spends time at the CAD station producing electrical drawings. Another important duty is performing shipping/receiving functions and keeping track of component part inventory in the assembly shop.

When not at the shop, Tim enjoys vacationing up North and just kicking back while watching movie reruns.

Tim is a Veteran of the US Navy. After being discharged in 1990, he has acquired years of valuable experience working in the electrical panel construction industry.

Kate DeChambre

Katie M. Dechambre

Office/Engineering Support

Kate takes care of many of the daily administrative tasks at NOVA such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing. When NOVA has large projects she also creates electrical schematics and assists with the project documentation.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys playing volleyball. Her interests include traveling, photography, reading, sports, and spending time with her friends and family.

Kate graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering and then went on to complete her MS in Biomedical Engineering from the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences in Lübeck, Germany.

Chad Due

Chad M. Due

Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer, Chad's daily routine consists of responding to customer requests for technical support and on-site service. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and making recommendations regarding other systems integration products, such as servos, PLC/PCs, CNCs, and HMIs. Chad also handles project/application engineering assignments to ensure that projects are completed according to customer specifications.

When not at work, he professionally races R/C cars on a local and national level. Other interests include traveling, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Chad graduated form the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Wendy Panaro

Wendy S. Panaro

Operations Manager

Wendy orchestrates the day-to-day operations of the facility including scheduling service calls, shop, and on-site work. Using an @task project management tool, she manages the client/NOVA information flow. Her communication skills build long term relationships that helps insure customer requirements are met and that fosters repeat contacts for future business. Wendy also supports the technical staff with procurement and quotation activities.

Outside of work, she enjoys visiting nursing homes with Dexter, her therapy cat. Other interests include working out, downhill skiing, camping and travel.

Wendy graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a MS in Engineering Management.

Jerry Rodberg

Jerry Rodberg

Project Application Engineer

Jerry is primarily involved with project engineering at NOVA. He is responsible for the design, construction, programming, installation and commissioning of retrofitted industrial machinery. During the execution of those tasks, Jerry considers the mechanical/electrical interactions and works closely with other team members to develop a consensus towards a workable solution. When needed, he does field service troubleshooting on control systems. In his spare time, Jerry maintains the Nova IT infrastructure.

When not on the clock, Jerry enjoys tinkering with computers and other high tech gadgets. He has been seen chasing the cat with an R/C car!

Jerry graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
